The West River Winds Community Band exists to encourage musicians to continue in musical participation & growth in band performance, assist all members to serve the public in the enjoyment of music, and demonstrate the value of music in our community and work for a favorable environment for the celebration of music.

Special Performances Through Out the Years
The West River Winds have been performing for over 25 years! Our traditional concerts have been Monday nights in June as part of the Musician's Association Summer Concerts in the park series. We've also played for the City of Mandan's Art in the Park Festival. In previous years, we have performed as the opening band for the Medora Musical as well as providing entertainment for Frontier Days at the Custer House, Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park.
